The Dark Circle is an exciting six-piece live band from Goa bringing together experienced musicians, powerful vocals and a versatile repertoire designed for weddings, concerts, festivals, corporate events, clubs, private celebrations and more.
Formed in April 2026, the band may be a relatively new name on Goa’s live music scene, but its members bring years of individual musical experience from different bands, projects and performances. Together, they combine seasoned musicianship with a fresh, energetic approach to live entertainment.
The Dark Circle’s sound moves comfortably across genres, allowing the band to perform for audiences with very different musical tastes. Their repertoire includes original music, classic rock, Bollywood retro classics, modern Bollywood hits, international dance and party anthems, country music, Konkani favourites, pop, rock and acoustic music.

Remy Barbosa is the bassist and vocalist of The Dark Circle, bringing 18 years of musical experience to the band.
For Remy, music is deeply connected to rhythm, groove and the power of the low end. His musical journey began in 1997, driven by a fascination with the way bass can shape the entire feeling of a song.
While many musicians are naturally drawn towards playing lead, Remy found his place in the foundation of the music. For him, playing bass is about making people feel the music from the ground up.
His simple philosophy captures his approach perfectly: low frequencies, high passion.
With years of experience behind him, Remy provides a solid rhythmic foundation to The Dark Circle while also contributing vocals to the band’s live performances.

Rui Lucio Soares – Lead Guitarist & Vocalist
Rui Lucio Soares is the lead guitarist and vocalist of The Dark Circle. At 20 years of age, he represents a younger generation of musicians who are passionate about contributing to Goa’s live music scene while continuing to develop their craft.
Rui has been performing for approximately one year and seven months and hopes to build a future as a full-time musician.
Outside music, he is a student at Chowgule College of Arts and Science, where he is pursuing his M.A. degree in English.
For Rui, playing guitar provides a sense of calm and peace. He genuinely enjoys performing and sees music as something he wants to continue pursuing seriously.
He also has strong ambitions for the future. Inspired by Goa’s music culture, Rui hopes to keep growing as a guitarist, perform extensively and eventually take his music to audiences around the world.

Sleny Mascarenhas – Vocalist
Sleny Mascarenhas is the female vocalist of The Dark Circle and completes the band’s six-member line-up.
Her presence gives the group additional vocal versatility and allows The Dark Circle to explore a wider variety of songs, arrangements and musical styles during live performances.
As one of the band’s principal voices, she contributes to the group’s ability to adapt its repertoire across weddings, parties, concerts and other live events.
Luke Revson Fernandes – Vocalist, Guitarist & Band Leader
Luke Revson Fernandes is the vocalist, guitarist and band leader of The Dark Circle.
As the person leading the band, Luke plays an important role in bringing together the different personalities, instruments and musical influences within the six-piece line-up.
Alongside vocals and guitar, his role as band leader helps shape The Dark Circle’s direction as the group develops its identity within Goa’s live entertainment scene.
The band’s goal of combining strong musicianship with energetic and versatile performances reflects the collaborative approach of Luke and the musicians around him.
Kreutzer Svilen Goes – Keyboardist & Vocalist
Kreutzer Svilen Goes handles keyboards and vocals for The Dark Circle.
The keyboard adds another layer to the band’s sound, helping them recreate the different textures needed for a repertoire that ranges from classic rock and Bollywood to contemporary dance music, Konkani favourites and acoustic selections.
His additional vocal contribution also strengthens the band’s multi-vocalist format.
Ciero D’Costa – Drummer & Vocalist
Ciero D’Costa is the drummer and a vocalist with The Dark Circle.
As the band’s drummer, he provides the rhythmic drive behind their live performances and works closely with bassist Remy Barbosa to form the foundation of the group’s sound.
Ciero also contributes vocals, adding yet another dimension to a line-up in which several musicians are capable of singing as well as playing their primary instruments.
