Jurgen Mycroft Pacheco is the founder and bandleader of Double R Goa. As the band’s primary frontman, he plays rhythm guitar and shares lead vocal duties while helping drive the energy of the band’s live performances.
Music is also closely connected to Jurgen’s passion for Goan culture and the local live music community.
For years, he has recorded performances by different Goan bands using his own camcorder. Through these recordings, he has created an online archive showcasing musicians, performances and moments from Goa’s live music scene.
His efforts go beyond simply documenting shows. They help preserve a visual record of a musical culture that has played an important role in celebrations and entertainment across Goa for generations.
As the founder of Double R, Jurgen combines his work as a performer with his enthusiasm for supporting, documenting and celebrating Goan live music.

Rochelle Braganca – Lead Female Singer
Rochelle Braganca comes from the village of Nuvem, Goa, where music was part of her life from an early age.
Growing up surrounded by music, her journey gradually took her from choirs to live bands, helping singing become an important part of both her personal and musical life.
Rochelle has been performing with Double R for five years and brings around 15 years of performance experience outside the band.
One of the biggest influences on her musical journey was her grandfather, Francisco Anthonio Braganca, whom she describes as a respected musician of his time. His musical legacy played an important role in inspiring her own path as a performer.
As Double R’s lead female singer, Rochelle contributes confident vocals and years of live performance experience to the group’s sound.
She also enjoys performing her own song, Senorita.

Caridade Dsouza – Lead Singer & Bass Player
For Caridade Dsouza, music is both a passion and a source of livelihood.
With 10 years of musical experience, Caridade performs with Double R as both a lead singer and bass player, giving him an important dual role within the band.
His vocals contribute to the band’s front line, while his bass playing provides the rhythmic and harmonic foundation that supports the rest of the musicians.
Caridade credits his brother as the root inspiration behind his passion for music and his decision to pursue it seriously.
His involvement in Goa’s events industry also extends beyond performing. He runs an event company called Karry Events and works at different venues across Goa, giving him experience with celebrations and events from both a musical and organisational perspective.

Frank – Lead Guitarist, Violinist & Vocalist
Frank is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist specialising in lead guitar, violin and vocals, with more than 15 years of professional performance experience.
He has been actively performing since 2009, beginning his professional musical journey as part of the duo Noronha Brothers, where he performed alongside his brother at a variety of events and venues.
That experience helped establish the foundation for his development as a live performer and multi-instrumentalist.
Over the years, Frank has been associated with several musical groups, including Strawberry Jam and Footprints. He has been a performing member of Double R for the past four years.
His musical experience also extends to choral performance as a member of The Divine Harmony Choir. In 2020, he represented Goa as part of the national Sing For India project.
Frank has also taken his music beyond Goa, performing at international events including Goa Day celebrations in Dubai and Qatar, as well as at professional events across India.
His ability to move between lead guitar, violin and vocals gives Double R additional musical flexibility, while his extensive performance background brings experience and consistency to the band’s live sound.

James Cardozo – Keyboardist
James Cardozo is a keyboardist from Ribandar, Goa, whose musical foundations were developed largely through playing in church.
His early experience centred around piano-style music, giving him a strong foundation in melody and harmony while allowing him to gradually develop his own approach to the keyboard.
James’ interest in music was encouraged by his father, who introduced him to a variety of classic artists and helped shape his appreciation for different styles of music.
He joined his first Goan band around a year ago and has continued exploring and developing his abilities as a live performer.
Church music remains an important part of his musical journey. James enjoys playing worship music and performing at church events alongside his work with the band.
As the keyboardist of Double R, he contributes melodic and harmonic depth to the band’s overall sound.

Donovan Cain Monteiro – Drummer
Donovan Cain Monteiro is a passionate drummer and musician from Goa with 15 years of experience behind the drum kit.
His journey began at the age of eight, when his uncle introduced him to the drums. What started during childhood gradually developed into years of performing with different bands and artists.
Throughout his musical career, Donovan has taken his drumming to performances across India and internationally.
His experience covers a range of musical environments, including live gigs, festivals and studio work. He also creates drum-related content while continuing to explore new sounds and approaches to his instrument.
As the drummer of Double R, Donovan brings energy, groove and creativity to the band. His playing provides the rhythmic drive behind the other musicians and contributes strongly to the energy of a live performance.
