Description
Cellist Vian Pereira is a highly talented and professional cellist based in Goa. With a passion for music and a wealth of experience, she has captivated audiences around Goa. As a music educator and performer, Vian brings a unique perspective and artistry to every performance.
Vian is a talented cellist and an entrepreneur with a passion for music education and performance.
She played the cello in the background score of the Konkani film Nachom-ai Kumpasar. Vian has performed at prestigious venues in India and across the world. Like the Royal Opera House and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Mumbai. As well as the Hall of Columns, Moscow and the Halle aux Grains, Toulouse.
Some of the music festivals that she has played at include CelloFan Festival in Callian, Provence-Alpes-Côte D’Azur, France. And also Serendipity Arts Festival, held in Goa, Con Brio Festival, 2011-2017 and at the Sangat Music Festival, Coke Studio,
She has worked with include Grammy award winners AR Rahman, Yo-Yo-Ma, Ustad Zakir Husain, Sivamani, Kailash Kher, Shreya Ghoshal to name a few.
Vian has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of India, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, The South Asian Symphony Orchestra (SASO), and the World Orchestra in Seoul.
She has collaborated on various projects with the Bangalore School of Music, the Delhi School of Music, The Neemrana Music Foundation and The Mehli Mehta Music Foundation. Having studied cello in France, Vian speaks French fluently and enjoys teaching the language as well.
With a passion for music and a wealth of experience, Vian continues to captivate audiences around the world with her soulful and emotional solo cello renditions. As a solo artist and entrepreneur has most recently started a string quartet in Goa – Vian Pereira String Quartet. Her repertoire ranges from pop to light classical to Goan and Bollywood music.

Our wedding planner recommended Vian Pereira’s group for the processional/recessional and we could not be happier with their performance.
