The show must go on – Wedding Inspirations in the times of Coronavirus.

As the number of Covid-19 cases grows globally, so does the number of cancelled weddings, trips and other big gatherings planned for the year. However, this Melbourne couple decided to opt for a modern solution.

Michael Rogan and Melanie Mayze had planned to celebrate their special day in front of 60 friends in the grand hall. But the couple was brought to a last-minute blow when the Federal Government capped wedding attendees to a maximum of five. Yet, the couple decided to go ahead with their wedding. It commenced by shifting the venue to the best man’s backyard. And by offering a live stream of the ceremony on Facebook to most of those who were supposed to physically attend their wedding ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the couple, the celebrant, best man Steve and Ms Rogan’s daughter, maid-of-honour and witness, Emily.

The couple was really happy with how things got turned out. It highlighted what was most important to them. Also, a lot of people thanked the couple for sharing it online because it was a bright spot. It was a chance to connect with people when you’re so isolated. Once the pandemic has settled down, the couple plans to throw a party so they can physically celebrate with family and friends.

This Melbourne couple has helped us believe that every moment is a fresh beginning. And the most important thing is to try and inspire yourself and people around you so that there can be a great start in whatever we want to do.

How can we get inspired by this in Goa? Yes surely, once lockdown opens ‘sup and you still want to go ahead with your wedding with minimum guests, here your chance to do something unique by Lifestreaming your wedding to your guests and once things settle down post-COVID-19 you could throw a bigger party for all those missed guests you wanted to be a part of your big day.
