Forefront is a well-established live band in Goa known for its energetic performances, musical versatility, powerful vocals, and ability to connect with audiences across generations.
Performing for over three decades, Forefront has entertained audiences at weddings, corporate events, festivals, private celebrations, and other live events. The band has also released two original albums in English and two songs in Konkani, while sharing the stage with international acts including the Bellamy Brothers, Vengaboys, and Kaoma.

Seby Pinto – Bass Guitarist
Seby Pinto is the bassist and band manager of Forefront, bringing 35 years of performing experience to the group.
Born into a musical family, Seby’s journey with music began when his mother taught him to play the violin at the age of 10. Growing up, he developed a passion for music while listening to artists and bands including Boney M, ABBA, Bob Marley, The Police, and The Beatles.
He later learned guitar before eventually moving to bass guitar, becoming an important part of Forefront’s rhythm and musical foundation.

Agatha Jilugu – Lead Singer
Agatha Jilugu is the female lead vocalist of Forefront and has been performing for more than 23 years.
A passionate singer who also enjoys dancing and reading, Agatha brings energy, personality, and expressive vocals to the band’s live performances. She describes herself as friendly, fun, optimistic, loyal, honest, spiritual, and creative.
For Agatha, God remains her greatest inspiration in her musical journey. Her powerful voice and lively stage presence contribute to Forefront’s ability to engage audiences and create an enjoyable atmosphere.

Brendan Noronha – Keyboard & Vocals
Brendan Noronha is a keyboardist and vocalist with over 20 years of live performance experience and has been a proud member of Forefront for more than 12 years.
Coming from a family of musicians, music has always played an important role in Brendan’s life. He was inspired from a young age by his grandfather, father, and uncles, along with many renowned Goan musicians whose talent and dedication encouraged him to pursue music.
Through his keyboards and vocals, Brendan adds melody, harmony, and depth to Forefront’s live sound while helping the band create memorable musical experiences for audiences.

Leander Mascarenhas – Drummer & Singer
Leander Mascarenhas is a drummer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer from Goa. He has been playing drums since the age of four and has performed with Forefront for the past three years.
His musical journey began by watching his elder brother, Louis Mascarenhas, drummer for Crimson Tide Band, practise for hours. Through observation and constant practice, Leander began developing his skills before further refining his technique under the mentorship of Lester Godinho.
His drumming has been influenced by internationally recognised musicians including Chris Coleman, Eric Moore, and Dennis Chambers. As a composer and arranger, he also draws inspiration from artists such as Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Prince, Cory Henry, Cory Wong, and Eric Gales.
Beyond drums, Leander plays rhythm guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and saxophone. He is also the founder of Fransana Studio, where he composes, arranges, records, and produces original music.

Melvin Rosario – Vocalist, Lead & Rhythm Guitarist
Melvin Rosario is a vocalist and lead and rhythm guitarist with 35 years of performing experience.
His journey into music began at just six years old when he started playing the harmonica. Over the years, his passion for music continued to grow, with Bob Marley and reggae music becoming major influences on his musical style.
With his straightforward philosophy, “I speak less, work more,” Melvin brings decades of experience, musicianship, and dedication to Forefront’s performances. His vocals and guitar work contribute to the band’s ability to move comfortably across different genres, particularly reggae, rock, and popular live music.
